Coach Henty shares with his readers the fruit of his more than thirty years of coaching experience and devotion to the world of sports, as founder and president of Champions For Life, Inc., which has the mission of developing virtue and character through sports. Henty taps into his past experiences as a member of the Junior Olympic coaching staff and his athletic adventures in starting the first home in the country for male gymnasts to live and train together called the Gym-Nest. With admirable candor, he shares his personal story of how he evolved from a frustrated athlete who didn't accomplish his athletic dreams to a young coach of champions who still had little fulfillment until he was able to see through the eyes of one of his athletes who was dying from cancer.
